Presented at Control Shift Festival and in the form of personal techno-oracular services
'Divination is an intimate affair', takes place in the private havens of sorcerers and in the minuscule distance that separates you from your phone every time you read your horoscope of the day.
In private one-on-one sessions of twenty minutes experiments with a hybrid method to access oracular knowledge: using @digitaldreamx, the Digital Witchcraft "oracle bot" that juxtaposes snippets from Danae Tapia’s dreams and geometric shapes based on geomancy coordinates and actual cards of the Marseille Tarot. This pairing allow us to take advantage both from grammar-generative coding tools and from tarot as a narrative mystical system dated as far as the 13th century.
This work reflects on arcana, archetypes, automated poetry, technomancy and the many strategies we can activate in order to make the world an enchanted place.
