Autonomous technologies for feminist action

Collaborative wishlist
Supported by Mozilla Foundation

In the 2017 edition of Mozfest, held in London, I presented selected Latin American cases of feminist groups using autonomous Internet services for their actions, like providing information for safe abortion through secure email, communications before protests using secure mailing lists and private wikis, the creation of music, podcasts, and art with open source software.

I facilitated a critical discussion on the intersection of technologies and non-white feminism. From that point, the participants contributed with their own stories and we developed a wishlist for the feminist infrastructure we need.
